Let me introduce myself…

Currently, I am the Head of History at Stonar School. This is a thriving and successful private school in the South West of England. I am a History teacher with over 15 years of experience supporting students in achieving excellent results.

I have also been a History Tutor for many years. I have an extensive range of experience supporting students in making great progress and for many different topics. I can help with all major exam boards:

-CAMBRIDGE INTERNATIONAL

I can support students with all GCSE topics and many A Level topics. For A Level, I particularly enjoy Modern Britain, Modern USA, Modern Russia, the Tudors and Stuarts, and Modern International Relations topics. I am always keen to learn a knew topic so please contact me to find out if I can support you.

How can I help you…

Typically, most students would like 1-1 lessons to support them. In these lessons I can recap content and revise knowledge. However, to gain most value students should use me to help answer exam questions and develop skills.

At GCSE level, I am an AQA assessor and have up to date knowledge on the expectations for all major exam boards. I can work with you to produce grade 9 answers.

At A-Level, I can work with you to develop balanced, evaluative and analytical arguments in your essays. I can use a structured formula using PEDAL paragraphs to help you. Also, we can develop A grade source and interpretation skills.

If you have a groups of classmates that would like to revise together then please inquire about small group lessons. I can work with up to 4 students.
